Pacífico Dance Company: Mexico, de Tierra a Mar

Pacífico Dance Company is dedicated to the performance and preservation of traditional Mexican folkloric dance. Since 1992, the company has grown to over 40 dancers and has toured internationally. 

Experience the dance fusion of culture, folklore, and current themes represented by the various regional styles of Mexican dance.

Impro Theatre: Fairytales UnScripted 

Impro Theatre delves into the world of fairytales featuring wondrous magic, dangerous journeys and true love, with a lesson or two along the way. Inspired by the suggestions and imaginations of our youngest audience members, Fairytales UnScripted brings to life stories that no one has ever seen - and no one will ever see again.

Child's Play Theatre Company: The Cat in the Hat

Child’s Play Theatre Company helps children and adults grow and learn through the wonderful world of imagination using theatre arts and crafts as the primary vehicle.

Students create tableaus inspired by The Cat in the Hat and practice their rhyming skills by writing a class poem together.

Ipanemo Theater Troupe: Mythical Playground - Brazilian Myths & Culture

The Ipanemo Theater Troupe interweaves myths of different cultures, music, fantastical costumes and dance to create stories that teach and delight audiences of all ages.

Students are introduced to myths and fairytales and learn how to write their own myth and story to pass on.

Jazzy Ash & The Leaping Lizards

Jazzy Ash invites everyone to come along on a Crescent City-inspired, jazzy musical adventure with her band, the Leaping Lizards. Jazzy Ash’s songs have a lot of New Orleans-style sugar and sass to inspire little ones to wiggle and dance along. 

This guide addresses K-2 math standards, introduces new jazz instruments and unlocks rhythmic patterns.

Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute: Musical Explorers

The Musical Explorers program highlights musical cultures from around the world with a focus on local musicians and bands. In partnership with Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute, The Broad Stage produced five highly interactive concerts introducing audiences to the diverse musical community of Los Angeles as they develop listening, singing and rhythmic skills.
