Welcome to the hottest club in town! Following a sold-out inaugural season, blackbox @ the edye is back with an all new lineup of under the radar jazz & blues artists. The Reverend Shawn Amos and the house band will perform at select blackbox @ the edye shows.

About the Artist

For the last several years, Joshua White has been in demand as one of Southern California’s most creative and technically accomplished pianists. Formed in January 2014, the Joshua White Quartet is a bi-coastal group focused on interpreting original compositions, as well as exploring the boundaries of collective improvisation. The JWQ features David Binney (Alto Sax) Harish Raghavan, Hamilton Price (bass) Damion Reid, Mark Ferber (drums). Pianist Joshua White has also worked /recorded with Chrisitan McBride, Dayna Stephens, Ambrose Akinmusire, Walter Smith III, Marvin "Smitty" Smith, Tim Lefebvre, Joe LaBarbera, Hugh Ragin, Anthony Wilson, Derrick Hodge, and many more.

All About Joshua White: From Jazz Camp to International Recognition

Joshua White has made a name for himself in the jazz community after first receiving acclaim for placing 2nd in the annual Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition.
