MASTER CLASS: OBSERVE AN SMC WORKSHOP WITH THE BIRDS IN THE MOON CREATIVE TEAM
TUE, MAR 9 from 11:15 AM - 12:30 PM (PT)
Birds in the Moon is an imaginative, mobile chamber opera staged entirely in and around a shipping container. During this school year, Santa Monica College students have created artworks in response to the opera and its themes, which draw on a fantastical 17th Century theory that birds migrate to the moon each year. You are invited to observe an online workshop led by the production's creative team for the SMC Art Department in advance of the socially distanced performance, making its Broad Stage premiere this Summer. To register to observe this online workshop, email development@thebroadstage.org or call 310.434.3590. Register by Friday, March 5 at 12 PM.
Available to our Friend-level Members and above
